A reason for not catching up old episodes

Again, things happen for a reason.

I didn't and I couldn't have time to watch old episodes of all prim-time series on national or on cable. The only thing I've really watched religiously is Ugly Betty. But now, I realised that not watching old episodes (well, not that old...just last season's) of certain shows can be a great pay-off now.

I prepared myself all day long, just so that I could sit in front of TV and have supper after work. It was Desperate Housewives 2007-08 season airing on one of those English-only cable channels in Asia. I have the season in one of my hard disk but I just can't bother with watching and eating in front of my computer anymore! While watching, I suddenly realised that my life was exactly like this before. The whole day of work was going to pay off because of something good on TV. I never went out on Sunday because of The Simposons, nor on Thursday since there was Must-see TV (this is long before reality show started to get a huge piece of the overall TV programming). There was also Monday and Saturday, and geez...it was like everyday! The only day there wasn't anything was Friday, I suppose. When was Sex and the City on? There was also The Sopranos, Oz, QAF, and tons of other stuff... Seriously, I watch a lot of TV.

But now I'm content again (not happy, mind you, I'm never happy, plus I'm still in a schiessty mood thanks to daily encounter of imbeciles around me). At least I can come home and sit on my couch to watch some good TV.

Speaking of which, I also realized that I forgot to watch the final season of Will & Grace...I can't bring myself to finish the season somehow. I never missed a season, even after I got back to Taipei, I still followed it on a weekly basis. I know it's ended and all, but I just kind of want it to be there, unfinished... I'm weird.
