氷の華 Koori no Hana
I know I'm not in a good mood, perhaps that's because I had to finish watching the drama version of Koori no Hana (氷の華). It's a two-part special airing two night consecutively on TV Asahi last week. Each night lasts for two hours, meaning nearly four 3 1/2 hours without commercials. Normally, I can't stand watching something that long, but I have to admit that the storyline, or should I say the adopted script was quite captivating. There's rarely anything now that keeps me glued to the screen for a long time, but this had me watching straight for two hours two nights in a row.
Demon exists in all humanity, albeit asleep. That's how scary the world is and exactly what crossed my mind while watching this. Once one is harmed, the demon awakes and revenge must be made. I thought about this again and again, not knowing when the demon comes out of me, or out of others around me. One becomes uncontrollably stubborn when one is hurt, and objective must be achieved. But how far does one go to accomplish so?
It's a scary world out there.
