Café Sora (Kyoto)

A little café-restaurant I went to in Kyoto. It's 5-minute walk from the famous Kinkakuji Temple (金閣寺) and despite a tiny space, it actually has a great ambiance and food! Everyone would go to Kyto for the traditional treats (they are good but sometimes you need a reservation or wait in queue forever) but I'd rather go taste other things in that city (since a friend told me that Kyoto has the best coffee in Japan).

In fact, it's also a beauty salon for dogs (that's what attracted to me to this place, though I didn't have any dog with me). It's like most of the contemporary cafés in metropolitan Japan; the decor, the lighting but the service and something about the small space and a seat overlooking the alley (and the sky) makes it a quite relaxing place to be.

A little basket for my bag. Nice. Yes, that's one of my legs.

The aftermath of my afternoon dessert. Green tea parfait, strawberry cheesecake with ice-cream and a really good cup of coffee. Look at those two small bowls. The left one is cream/milk and the other one is suger.
