Taiwan, c'est la honte - Shameful act

Je n'allais pas aborder le sujet des politiques sur ce site mais les actualités à Taiwan sont un peu trop insupportables depuis un bon moment. Beaucoup de choses se sont passées l'année dernière sur le scène politique taiwanaise et je n'ai pas vraiment pensé à tout ce qu'il y a eu. Mais quand j'ai vu une femme politique (parlementaire) qui a lancé sa chaussure contre le ministre du parlement (Legislative Yuan), je me suis dit que voilà, c'est la honte absolue. Pire, le lendemain, cette femme soi-disant parlementaire, apparemment éduquée, n'a présenté aucune excuse (au moins pour les enfants du pays qui pourraient très bien imiter ce acte barbare) et elle a mis cette chaussure d'arme sur les enchères pour la vendre.
Malade, elle doit l'être; le fait qu'une personne étant dans un poste aussi important a pu commettre un acte aussi préhistorique me perplexe. Est-ce que j'habite vraiment dans un pays civilisé? Jusqu'à maintenant, non. J'avais vu plein d'incidents honteux de ce genre quand j'étais enfant. A l'époque, je ne comprenais rien au monde d'adulte. Aujourd'hui, je ne comprends toujours pas ce monde d'adulte mais je suis capable de ressentir la honte. Ceux qui disent que Taiwan a changé n'y comprend rien. C'est un pays où on peut élire la violence au parlement et un con avec des problèmes linguistiques au pouvoir.
Je rénoncerais à ma nationalité taiwanaise si je pouvais. J'ai honte d'être taiwanais. Ce pays va se détruire bientôt si ces gens barbares y restent.

I was not going to talk about politques on this site but the news in Taiwan are just a bit too unbearable for a good while now. Many politics-related events have happened last year and I didn't think too much of any of them. But when I saw a female parlementarian throwing her shoe at the minister of the Legislative Yuan, I said to myself that it was it; it was the absolute shame.

Worse, the day after, this so-called female parlementarian, apparently educated, did not present any excuse (at least for the children in the country who could very well imitate this uncivilised act) and went on to put her shoe weapon on auction.
Sick, she must be; the fact that a person being a important position managed to commit such a prehistorical act perplexes me. Do I really live in a civilised country? Up to now, I don't think so. I had seen plenty of shameful incidents of this kind when I was a kid. At the time, I did not quite understand that world of grown-ups. Today, I still don't understand any of it but I am able to feel the shame. Those who say that Taiwan has changed does get any of it. It is a country where people elect violence to parlement and a moron with a language skill problems in power.
I'd give up my Taiwanese nationality if I could. I am ashamed of being Taiwanese. This country will self-destruct soon if these uncivilised persons remain.
