Summer Japanese Drama II - 山おんな壁おんな

This one first aired last week, the same day as Katagoshi no Koibito. I am only interested in this because Nishijima Hidetoshi has a small part in it. OK, fine, the plot on a flat chested woman (like a wall) and a woman with a chest like mountain peaks does interest me somewhat (ask my friends, I'm not going to explain why). Hence the title of the series - Yama Ona Kabe Ona (mountain woman, wall woman...if directly translated). But it's still because of Nishijima Hidetoshi that I'm watching it.

He actually plays the childhood friend of the main character (played by Ito Misaki), who is flat chested and is the manager of luxury bags in a department store called Marukoshi (a play on names of two big department stores in Japan - Marui and Mitsukoshi). He is the countryside so speaks with a heavy accent. But it doesn't matter how he speaks, he's always good at what he does and still look as good as any other roles (and yes, the voice is really quite sexy). I haven't seen anything with him in it since Ooku - The Movie in January. I don't think I can say anything, he just knows how to act. He only appears about 3 minutes in the pilot (and half of that was his legs and back...can't even see the face) but I watched that particular clip about 3 times now (it's also a pretty funny part). I can't wait to see the next episode...Tomorrow is Thursday again which means I get to watch it!

Great, I'm addicted to a show because of an actor.

But I knew that already...it's just that I haven't really seen him in comedic roles before and he's actually pretty funny, while still being good-looking as usual.
