Thanks for telling me this

I am sure someone has noticed this already since the subway system in Taipei didn't just start its service yesterday. In one of the trains, one sees this sticker (unfortunately I couldn't get the who stick in the photo because it's a bit too wide) that reads: "In case of emergent situation or train irregularity, please let us know the train number...".

Now, what does "emergent situation" mean? A situation that is going to emerge? (out of nowhere, I imagine...) If you can read the Chinese part, you'd notice right away that "emergent situation" actually means "emergency" but someone has somehow found the word "emergent" in some dictionnary to be related to "emergency". I'd really like to get a hold of this dictionnary. So, according to this sticker, any situation that emerges (urgent or not) should be reported to the Taipei MRT. Wow, they really do care about their passengers!!! Next time I can't find a seat on the train (it's a situation that emerges rather often), I think I'd contact Taipei MRT right away. I am sure they'd try to find an empty seat for me.
