Mozarthaus à Vienne

I finally got to Vienna in September. I had tried to go there every time I was in Europe but not succeeded. I joked about it with my friend in Vienna that something was blocking me to go (I realised that it was Paris because I had to go to Paris each time and it simply seemed too far from there; plus I always need to go to Switzerland as well so not a lot of time on my hand).
I had to go this year. It's the 250's anniversary of Mozart. It's particuarly special for me since I share the same birth date with Mozart (not the year though he was born 222 years before me). Took a little time out to visit his residence/museum in Vienna and it was the first time that I used an audio guide and went through the entire museum. At the end of the visit, I was really touched. I don't know why. I almost cried when Requiem started to play on the audio guid thing. I suppose it's the rather pathetic (tragic?) end of his life that made me think a lot.

On another note, I think I started this mixed up thing with all the languages I know in Vienna. Some museum staff greeted me in the middle of the visit and I simply replied "Bonjour" without
thinking twice. This sort of things happened again and again in Vienna(French instead of English), then in Paris (German instead of French), then in Tokyo (French instead of Japanese/English). Even a month and half later I am still doing this in Taipei.

Oh, Rafi had a good visit as well. The photo is the evidence.
