The Bad Photographer - Still Haunting Me

The song, "The Bad Photographer" by Saint Etienne still haunts me to this day. The lyrics seem to be telling this incident in San Francisco that I'd really like to forget. It's an awful story so I am not going to talk about it. Listen to the song and you'll know what it's all about.

But I have to admit that I love Sarah Cracknell in that white furry coat walking down a snow covered path. That's what I like about winter. I like the purity represented by the snow. After fresh snow has fallen during the night, I used to get up ridiculously early just to walk through fresh snow (OK, to make footprints as welll...I like being a kid sometimes) and contemplate on things while appreciating the calm. Don't really have the chance to do that now since I live in a subtropical country. Really miss it. The last time I did that was 7 months before I left Vancouver, on my birthday. The ground had about 20-30 cm of snow in the morning depending on where you were. I am a winter boy and I hope I can get to do that regularly soon.
