Despite being the largest bookstore in Taiwan which also sells a load of English-language books, Eslite Booksotre still made a rather funny mistake when trying to tell customers about those less expensive "simplified books" (that's why they are cheaper!) 雖然終於看到了，但是那天去看電影還真的是很不好的經驗，害我看完後馬上打電話給Dawn抱怨。其實在入電影院前我已經寄了兩封簡訊說真的很不想跟這麼多人看因為這些觀眾一定會在那種slap-stick comedy（我不知道這個中文要怎麼講）的地方笑。果然沒有錯。The Simpsons不是給小孩看的節目，也不是純粹 slap-stick，裡面的內容跟台詞有一堆東西可以笑的。但是會笑的人只有知道那個地方的大眾文化是什麼。我旁邊的那個人笑的世界有夠大聲。好，假如你看字幕的，請你慢慢看，請不要打擾不看字幕的人，害我一半的台詞沒聽清楚，只聽到一直念「My goodness!」這句話真的是有夠台灣英文的（「天啊」）因為除了小時候被教說要用這個之外（因為對神比較禮貌，當然那是因為在很religious的家庭長大的），會講「My goodness」的人只有老太太了。我隔壁的好像大約20幾歲而已。改寫英文，

前天因為在找 City of Angels 的影片時發現了很多瑞典版的東西，而看到唱「I'm Nothing Without You」的演員/歌手就是 Peter Jöback。我對瑞典那邊的音樂劇沒什麼研究（還好沒有，要不然我可能也會跟我朋友三不五時的往那個方向跑）但是發現Peter Jöback 的演出還蠻不錯的。看到他之前 Cabaret 演 Emcee的表演影片，感覺還不賴，雖然完全聽不懂瑞典文。他演過的角色還蠻多元化的，因為普通會演 Emcee這個角色的人不太會演 Miss Saigon 裡的主角Chris。感覺很奇怪 （因為前一個是超前衛的怪人，後一個是癡情美國大兵）。聽了一下他自己的專輯音樂也發現他唱比較大眾化的音樂也還不錯。其實，可以唱大眾音樂又把 City of Angels那首歌詮釋的那麼好，我還蠻佩服的。對了，人長的也不錯，感覺好像可以去演Sunset

雖然這次跑去了東京後就跑到關西 ，我選擇住在比較便宜的名古屋。反正我有一張JR PASS讓我每天坐新幹線做到麻痺，所以可以省就省了。很小很小的時候有來過名古屋但幾乎沒有印象了。而七年前也只是從韓國過境名古屋要回加拿大，所以對這個城市幾乎是不清楚。晚上從東京到了後就在Sakae(榮)那一帶混。本來還有點想跑去露天cafe喝個啤酒的但是還是把錢省下來好點，在都內不到三天就已經花了太多了。那天晚上天氣還真的不錯。感覺像之前在溫哥華的夏天。閒逛之下突然聽到一個樂團在公園裡表演。我待在那裡聽了差不多半個小時，氣氛真的很好。路邊各色各樣的人也都停下來觀賞。我不知道為什麼那天我完完全全地被這個表演吸引了，可能音樂是有點 jazz-rock，也有可能是我很久沒有感覺到這麼好的氣氛了。這個氣氛，我也不知道改如何解釋，但是我好像從來沒在台灣有過同樣的感受。站在公園裡讓我回想起在歐洲的時候，

我可能去這家餐廳比在台北五年來去任何一家餐廳還要多次吧！應該快20次了因為我每次在東京會去至少兩次以上。西班牙 tapas味道就是那個樣子，可能很多人會吃膩（其實還蠻油的）但是我現在去已經不只是吃我最喜歡吃的東西了。跟我之前講的一樣，老闆跟老闆娘兩個人加上其他的員工都讓我有點像回到家的感覺。一定會把我餵的飽飽，讓我連走路回到汐谷站都會喊累。有點像回瑞士的感覺一樣。這次老闆問我為什麼我那麼喜歡來東京（¿Por qué siempre vienes en Tokio? ）我的回答是「因為我喜歡這個餐廳」（porque me gusta aquí）。我很自然地就這麼回答。後來想想，我是真的很愛這個餐廳。五年來一直讓我有機會嘗到好吃的而且台灣吃不到的料理。不管台灣的餐廳再怎麼做，就是做不出來那個味道，那個味道其實跟氣氛和人有關係。那是一個整體的感覺。這次請我大吃兩個晚上。

常常有人問我為什麼我那麼愛跑台場。其實我也不太清楚。可能我每次去的時候都是工作日所以台場幾乎沒有人，只有兩三學生團在那邊閒逛。說真的，我很愛坐 Yurikamome到台場去，我也喜歡坐在電車上看汐留的新建築跟港口的景色。不太知道為什麼但總是讓我有種放鬆的感覺。到台場後就到 Starbucks買同樣的 50C tall vanilla latte (在日本點我的飲料比在台灣簡單多了...之後再講，我的台北星巴克黑名單還沒有做)然後就跑到一個定點喝著咖啡往水的方向看。我可以一看就看半個小時以上（每個人去日本都不會浪費時間，但我好像相反，超會浪費的）。我在猜我可能很懷念之前住在北美洲西岸時的日子。我之前常常跑到港邊拿著一杯咖啡，就坐在那裡呆呆的望著水及建築物看（假如只有海，我看不下）。我一直在想假如每天可以這樣開始，我自然地會變成更積極的人吧？這次終於跑到 Aqua city

不知道為什麼今天晚上突然想吃（或喝）gazpacho （一種西班牙冷蕃茄湯）。可能是真的天氣有夠熱的，或者是我還想回味上個星期在東京吃的 gazpacho。不管如何，因為我沒有果汁機，我匆匆忙忙地跑到大賣場去買了一台，也買了其他家裡沒有的原料（昨天好像有預感所以已經買了大概有快15粒蕃茄...gazpacho一定要紅蕃茄，不能用台灣那種綠綠的蕃茄，會變的很難吃...）。但是我太晚出門了所以找不到我要的麵包。我想也沒關係，反正就差那麼一點點。一回家就把果汁機裝好，所有的青菜都切好，然後就開始享受 gazpacho了。說真的，每次吃完後感覺都很舒服。我想應該是一堆蕃茄的關係吧。

等了一段時間才聽到最新的 Company 專輯。Stephen Sondheim 的曲目我都很喜歡，但 Company 大概是我次數聽過最多次卻從來沒看過的音樂劇。裡面的名曲當然也超多的，但最吸引我的還是整個的劇本加上這部劇也是最早的 concept musical 之一（concept musical: 背景裝潢、道具、服裝幾乎為零，能只以音樂及對話來簡單地敘述一個故事）。而這次的專輯跟其他不一樣的地方（好像只有其他兩張，一張是1970年，另一張是1995年，兩張我都有）好像是演員也演奏音樂所以整體感覺更簡易。而1995年有的一些音效也沒有了；而且這張收入了比較多的對話。但我還是比較喜歡95年的主角，因為我總覺得主角的聲音比較像一個斯文的人。新的主角的聲音比較沒那麼把其他感情表達的那麼明顯，也更憂愁，所以感覺沒有像之前的那麼穩。 而那首超級恐怖快的歌好像也加速了，

本來就是一種娛樂性的東西但是有時候還是會相信。這個月的星座分析看了又看，總覺得有點討厭。不是不好，但是都說我會作一件事情 - 回想過去。從月初開始真的是這樣。然後又在某個晚上看到了 MTV's Undressed，讓我不得不回想大學時代的事情。 總覺得每件事情發生都有原因(everything happens for a reason)，所以回想到大學時代的人、事、物真的跟這個月所發生的事情都有關聯。而且 Undressed裡的情節都是現在我必須面對的 （所以我才說很討厭）。雖然已經要30了，但某些反應還像連20不到的那種很幼稚的感覺。總覺得十年來自己在幹嘛。一點成長都沒有。而且以前真的有事情要發生，都會在冬天，在我心情比較好的季節。回到台灣來每次有什麼怪事發生都是在六月這個時候了。到底為什麼？天氣已經熱到不行，我還要煩我自己。
